So, Thanksgiving is over, and it's on to the season of lights and Christmas trees!! Since Brandon is Mr. Hunter these days, we found it only appropriate to get Avalyn's pictures with Santa at the Bass Pro Shops store in Festival Bay (and it was FREE!). So on Saturday, Nov. 28th, we dressed our little pumpkin in her ADORABLE ivory sweater dress with fur on the collar and sleeves, ivory tights with red bows on the sides, and her little red shoes to match. Unfortunately, she didn't have a red bow in her hair because they appear to be impossible to find in the stores! Ivory bow it was... But I was somewhat nervous as we waited in line to get our picture with Santa, as you see those commercials and movies where the kid sits on his lap and starts bawling and screaming, especially since it was nearing her nap time. However, to my surprise, she was VERY happy when I took her out of her car seat and she saw all the lights and the trees and didn't make any fuss as I handed her over to the old guy in the red suit.

After our visit to Bass Pro Shops, we went over to Diana's house to watch the FSU vs. UF game and visit with Ryan while he was in town for the weekend. Unfortunately, they lost, and Brandon will now have to wear a Gator shirt around school on Monday, since he actually bet that they would win... can't wait to see a pic of that!!
